Homemade Hummus
This quick and easy homemade hummus is creamy, lemony and delicious! it’s the ultimate dip for veggies, pita, or even as a spread on sandwiches.

Servings 2.5 cups
- 2 cans chickpeas rinsed and drained
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 6 tbsp olive oil ~1/3 cup
- 1 garlic clove or 1 tsp minced garlic
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup toasted sesame seeds or tahini
- ¼ cup water don't add all at once, check consistency
Drain and thoroughly rinse chickpeas
Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth
Serve with veggies, crackers or pita and enjoy!
